Milky Blue Chalcedony

This is a relatively rare gemstone, found mainly in USA, Turkey and Namibia.  Whilst being the birthstone for the month of March it is known for promoting emotional harmony.  It is believed the gem enhances mental health,  boosts communication skills and helps to alleviate stress.

Silver Toned Labradorite

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral most commonly found in Madagascar, Scandinavia and Russia. With a beautiful irridescence ranging in colour tones of green and blues it contains flashes of gold and peacock making each stone unique. Named in 1770 after Labrador in Canada this gemstone has a more ancient history as it was used by the Inuits and revered by them due to their belief that the Northern Lights were trapped in the stone. It is thought to be the stone of transformation and helpful to impart strength at times of change. The particular stones for this design have been hand selected for their predominantly silver grey tone.

Amazonite

This beautiful gemstone was discovered in and named after the Amazon region but is now found mainly in India, Russia, Brazil and parts of Africa. It has a colour range of soft jade green to vibrant aqua and features paler inclusions making each stone different and unique. Sometimes known as the Gamblers Stone due to it's association with money, luck and overall success and is also linked to healing abilities.

Iolite

Originally mined by the Vikings in Norway and Greenland it is most commonly found today in Sri Lanka, Myanmar and India. One of the most beautiful gemstones with colour tones ranging from indogo to piercing blue. Known as the Viking Compass Stone as they used it as a tool to navigate it has been loved through the centuries. It is thought to be the Stone of Illumination, linked with spiritual journeys and associated with dreams, exploration and growth.
